MICHAEL J. O'MARA is a trial lawyer. Since 1981, he has devoted his practice to the defense and prosecution of personal injury, property damage, and commercial litigation. Mr. O'Mara has litigated and tried lawsuits throughout the state of New Jersey in both state and federal court. He has argued matters before the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. O'Mara devotes a considerable portion of his time to product liability and construction-related litigation. In addition, he has had the privilege of representing physicians, attorneys, and certified public accountants in professional liability matters. His practice includes the representation of members of the trucking industry in personal injury actions and the representation of private businesses and municipalities in claims alleging environmental damage.

Mr. O'Mara is a member of the Camden County, New Jersey State, and American Bar Associations. He has served the Camden County Bar Association as past Chair of the Dispute Resolution Committee, past coordinator of the Camden County Mock Trial Program, and member of the Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee. Mr. O'Mara is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the International Association of Defense Counsel, and the New Jersey Defense Association. He has presented at seminars sponsored by Camden County Bar Association and Burlington County Bar Association on topics involving civil procedure and trial tactics. Mr. O'Mara has been asked to speak before various industry groups on topics of substantive law of significance to their respective businesses. Mr. O'Mara is a founding member of the firm.
